Maroondah Singers Memorial Scholarship

Maroondah Singers are again offering their Memorial Scholarship. The Scholarship entitles the recipient to a contribution of $1500 towards tuition fees for one year, paid to the student on receipt of a satisfactory report from their singing teacher.  Payments are made on a quarterly basis.

The UNIFIED Grant

Commercial Development Grants Program

The Commercial Development Grants Program provides project funding to assist WA-based creative businesses to develop their commercial potential, increase business viability and extend market reach. Applications are open for the annual 15k-Plus category (grants over $15,000).

Opportunity Development Grant, Music NSW

Applications are now open for MusicNSW’s Round 2 Opportunity Development Grants. This program is aimed at supporting musicians and artist managers in developing opportunities whilst attending Australian industry conferences, domestic tours, trade fairs and other career defining opportunities in 2017.

Creative Learning Partnerships, Creative Victoria
Applications close 9 October
Creative Learning Partnerships provides the opportunity for Victorian schools to partner with creative professionals or arts and cultural organisations.  It involves school communities in creative partnership projects while providing students, teachers and creative professionals with diverse and challenging learning experiences.  The program generates innovative ways to engage students across the curriculum from Foundation to Year 10.

Theodore Kuchar Scholarship

The Theodore Kuchar Scholarship has been developed to support young emerging Townsville orchestral musicians with the costs of tuition and professional development. The Scholarship awards a Year Eleven student with $4,000, to be used to pay for instrumental tuition and/or professional development.

Young Regional Artist Scholarship
Applications close 30 October
25 scholarships for young regional artists and cultural workers to undertake exciting and career-making professional development opportunities.

With One Voice Community Choir Seed Funding
Applications close 4 November
Successful applicants will receive the $10,000 seed grant and join a 12-month intensive mentoring program to guide them through the process of building their own With One Voice choir.

City of Sydney, Live Music and Performance Grant

This is a matched grant up to $30,000 for venue improvements to grow and enhance the quality and quantity of programming.

City of Sydney, Night-Time Diversification Grant
Applications close 13 November
This is a matched grant up to $30,000 for 1 or 2 years for programming at night (6pm to 6am) to encourage increased variety of offerings in commercial precincts.

Rainbow Arts and Culture Foundation, Artist Grant Program
Applications close 17 November
Provides emerging and established artists an opportunity to construct manage and present new work to a large audience in a natural, outdoor environment.

BodyMinded Scholarships

MusicSA & moshtix Scholarship

Music SA in partnership with moshtix have announced a new scholarship to assist in developing the career of a female South Australian music industry professional.

The Ian Potter Cultural Trust

The Cultural Trust offers grants up to $7,000 to assist emerging and early career artists of exceptional talent to take up professional development opportunities, usually overseas.

Young People and the Arts Quick Response

Regional Partnerships

This program provides Victorian regional communities access to a wide variety of quality arts experiences through supporting performing arts centres. It is invite only.

Arts Business Innovation Fund

A fund created by the Queensland Government to provide a $1 million investment  to not-for-profit arts and cultural organisations.

Belconnen Arts Centre Artist in Residence Program
Ongoing
Belconnen Arts Centre is developing its seasonal Artists in Residence program and is offering assistance to local artists, writers, performers, new media collaborators and other creative professionals looking to use studio, performance and exhibition space for development and presentation of new work.

Victoria Law Foundation Grants

Government of Western Australia – Regional Touring Boost
Ongoing
The program aims to increase the number and diversity of professional small to medium arts shows touring regional communities in Western Australia for the next three years. Music shows can apply.

RADF Gold Coast
If you’re a local Gold Coast artist, creative business or organisation, grants are available to bring your big ideas to life through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF). In 2016-17, RADF is comprised of three programs – GERMINATE, ACTIVATE and GENERATE.

The Ace & Tate Creative Fund

The Ace & Tate Creative Fund grants funding to emerging artists in order to bring brilliant ideas to life. It supports individuals or collectives working anywhere, in any medium, who take creative risks to break new ground.

Arts Queensland – Queensland Arts Showcase Program
Applications accepted anytime
Provides funding to support individuals, organisations or collectives to deliver vibrant and accessible arts and cultural experiences for Queensland. The funding is administered across three streams:

1. Arts Ignite – funding of up to $60 000 for new works.
2. Arts Illuminate – up to $100 000 to secure acclaimed artists that will engage the community and build local capacity.
3. Arts Impact – up to $60 000 for diverse arts and cultural experiences for Queensland.

Performers’ Trust Foundation
The PPCA Performers’ Trust Foundation provides grants to promote and encourage music and the performing arts. The grants provided are non-recurring and can be used to cover tuition fees, travel costs, accommodation and venue hire/ PA hire.

Aboriginal Quick Response Grants
Applications Ongoing
Funding is available to assist Aboriginal artists, organisations and partnerships explore market development opportunities in the creative industries by attending trade fairs and export markets.

Artists in the House
Applications open in February
A new funding initiative to support the engagement of professional performing artists and arts workers for residencies at WA regional performing arts venues and entertainment centres.
