An education inclusive of music maximises student opportunity. Music is known to be enormously and diversely beneficial for young people – and now we have the latest information to help you back up that claim and advocate for improved provision of music education in Australia.

Together with our friends and colleagues from around the country, Music Australia will soon head to Canberra to check-in with MPs and Senators and remind them of the importance of music education. Music Australia, and its delegates, presents a united voice in calling for more comprehensive support of music education in Australian schools. As part of our meetings, we will share our new fact sheet.

Our fact sheet:

  • Presents the latest information to support claims about the benefits of music education
  • Has various formats to help spread the word (i.e. document with references and posters)
  • Is the result of collaboration with friends and advocates of music and music education from around Australia

Look out for our social media infographics and be sure to share them with your friends and colleagues.

Don’t forget that Music: Count Us In has loads of great resources that you can use to help promote the program and also use when advocating for music in your school check them out on our site.
