Much goes into organising Australia’s biggest school initiative, Music: Count Us In. The annual Program Song is at the very heart of the Program and unites young Australians from all around the country through music. The Program Song was collaboratively written by Sadie, Makayla, Elliena, Marcus and Tiffany – 5 very lucky and talented students from around Australia. These great young songwriters worked with Program Ambassador, John Foreman OAM, and Program Mentor, Taylor Henderson, to create song that celebrates and champions music in the lives of young people.

Music Australia is pleased to share our 2017 ‘Creating the Song’ clip to give you a look behind the scenes of our 2017 Songwriting Day. Listen carefully for some clues about the 2017 Program Song!

In mid-July, Music: Count Us In will launch for another year. With more than 3,100 schools already registered for 2017, this will definitely be the biggest year in history.
