Over 100 music professionals will gather in Sydney on 3 and 4 August for our Contemporary Music Roundtable. This is Australia’s largest music policy and industry development conference, devoted entirely to driving growth in contemporary music.

50 expert speakers and panellists from across the industry and country will share their wisdom, exchange ideas, and shape recommendations for the future.

Expect future forecasts from industry leaders; strategies to strengthen microbusinesses – the industry’s engine room; ways to build music’s political potency, foster diversity, strengthen career pathways, live and recorded music; and how to better understand the tastes and preferences of modern music fans – just some off the topics to be explored.

In the evenings delegates will network and socialise on the fabulous Customs House terrace over-looking Circular Quay, and at Sydney Town Hall. Delegates will be welcomed to a Town Hall Civic Reception by City of Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore, and we’re delighted to acknowledge the City’s major sponsorship.
