In preparation for 2016, MusicNT is seeking assistance from its audience. The industry body’s 2015 online survey, How Do You Consume Music?, invites anyone with an interest in music to provide information about their relationship with music. The survey, being conducted via Survey Monkey, is open to everyone, including musicians, music industry figures and music lovers. Both Northern Territory residents and those living interstate can participate.

MusicNT will use the results to inform the development of future strategies, policies and events, such as workshops. The survey’s welcoming page reads, ‘To ensure we’re catering for everyone and representing the different interests in this diverse music scene we want to hear from you!’

Participants are invited to comment on a range of issues, such as their involvement in the music scene, gig attendance habits, opinions of various MusicNT strategies and interest in events such as festivals and conferences. Each completed survey earns an entry into a draw to win a D’Arcangelo acoustic guitar worth $399, donated by Top End Sounds.

Readers can take part here. The deadline is Tuesday 1 December.
