shellie morris indigenous musicianMore than 600 young people will join singer / songwriter Shellie Morris in Darwin’s Casuarina Mall for the song that stops the nation. As well as singing the famous MCUI song, Keep On, the students will be treated to one of Ms Morris’ own compositions.

Winner of numerous awards, including 2013 NIMA Song of the Year and a Deadly Award for Cultural Advancement, Shellie Morris has enjoyed a career spanning over 20 years. She has traveled the world as a solo artist and as part of collaborations like The Black Arm Band. When not on tour, Shellie spends much of her time living and working in the Northern Territory.

The Darwin Music: Count Us In event is coordinated by the local community and schools, along with the Northern Territory Music School, all of whom are passionate about their kids’ music education!
