Hundreds of Australia’s greatest musicians have joined together to take part in EveryOneBand, the biggest band ever and invite you to join them. EveryOneBand is a new interactive recording project launched recently to raise money for Support Act Ltd an Australian charity dedicated to musicians, road crews and industry workers suffering health, financial and emotional issues.

The concept is for the music industry and the general public to sign up, and contribute to the band’s first single, ‘Stand By You’. To register, you go to, hit the ‘join’ button and enter your details.  You then receive an email with a link to the Resources page containing backing tracks, sheet music, chord charts and  there’s even a School Band arrangement! Download the backing tracks and anything else you need, record yourself singing or playing along and send them your file and it will be added to the final mix. You then have until 20 April to submit your recording.

The final track will be released in May and EveryOneBand is aiming for it to go gold and obtain the #1 ARIA position. If it does make it to a gold certification, EveryOneBand members will all receive their own Gold Award Certificate.

“Joining the band is easy, free and there’s no auditions!” EveryOneBand organiser and GANGgajang’s Mark Callaghan said. “You can record as much or as little as you want! Anything, from a flute to a triangle part is welcomed.” He continued, “Being in a band with 1 drummer is hard enough. We’ve got 52 already and counting! But we want more! “

With over 500 artists already onboard and the numbers are growing daily, including Midnight Oil, The Preatures, Cold Chisel, Powderfinger, Murray Cook, Anthony Field, Jeff Fatt from The Wiggles, Mondo Rock, Paul Kelly, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Angels, Baby Animals, Moving Pictures, GANGgajang, The Church, Delta Riggs, DMAs, Sheppard, Ross Wilson, Megan Washington, Kirin J Callinan, Deborah Conway, Kasey Chambers, Patience Hodgson, Wendy Matthews, Diesel, Richard Clapton, Rai Thistlethwayte, Katie Noonan, Steve Balbi, Hayley Mary, Brendan Gallagher, Mark Williams, Eric Weiderman, James Valentine, Mark Gable, Leah Flanagan, Alex Smith, Gary Pinto, Jade MacRae, Peter Maslen, Café At The Gate Of Salvation gospel choir and many more.

We are looking forward to May when we the final mix is released.  100% of all record royalties and all profit from merchandise goes to Support Act.
